About
Tutoring in math is all about communication. My math tutoring stands out because I first focus on what is confusing my student. Then, based on that I figure out the best way to explain the information to my student. I prepare good sample questions before each lesson to both guide my student through the information as well as understand where they might be confused.
I am currently an Applied Math Major at UC Davis and love to help people out with math related questions.
I enjoy tutoring because I love math and love to help people with work they are stuck on.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Before meeting with a student for the first time I like to understand what material they are learning in class. That way I can gather practice problems that are easier, the same, and a tougher difficulty than what they learn in class. Before the first class I also run through all of those problems and practice explaining them so when we meet I can make the best possible use of your time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently a Applied Math major at UC Davis. I can tutor in basic math, Algebra 1 or 2, Geometry, AP or College level Calculus, AP Statistics, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Abstract Mathmatics and Real Analysis. I have also spent time tutoring, and working at STEM focused summer camps.
