What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I spend a lot of time getting g to know my student individually.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters if Education with a speciality in Special Education. I have a clear Mild Moderate California credential and I've been teaching for over 25 years.

My price is $35.00 per hour
How did you get started teaching?
I've always wanted to teach since I was a little girl.
What types of students have you worked with?
All different types but especially special education
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I took a group of students to Alcatraz Island for a history class. We had a great time.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advise would be talk with the teacher and meet her first before hiring.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are their strengths and weaknesses. What is their learning style or learning preferences. Is there a type of teacher they like to work with, for example women, age and personality.
