About
Learning languages, traveling the world, volunteering in hospitals, and working in science and engineering made me a successful educator, engineer, and individual. They are the reason why I teach the mindset of continual education. As I teach students their material, I impart to them a sense of drive and direction.
I attended UC Irvine, where I earned a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a GPA of 3.9 and taught as a university lab instructor for 2 years. In addition, I have acquired rigorous tutoring experience over the past 7+ years in university, high school, group, and 1-on-1 settings.
I specialize in working with 5th-12th graders and first-year college students. My subjects of expertise are math (Pre-Algebra – AP Calculus BC), Physics (Elementary-AP/College), Chemistry, Robotics, English Writing, AP French, Spanish (1-2), AP History (World and US), Engineering prerequisites, and College and Career guidance and preparation.
My sessions are personalized, engaging, thought-provoking, and relevant. They are customized based on the student’s interests and intellectual gifts. I prepare my students to achieve success beyond their academics. My students will gain a clearer understanding of themselves and of others, and will obtain a desire to become blooming individuals who grow to enjoy learning and find their future path.
The mindset of continual education helped me succeed in an ever-changing world of growing needs and problems. I aspire to impart to my students this very mindset to help them on their journey of building their character and finding direction. I want them to know the needs of the world, and identify their special role in meeting such needs.
