Hi, Everyone!

I am a retired high school math teacher. I retired in 2019 after 20 years of service to our students. Since retiring, I've been subbing and tutoring ever since. Actually, I've been tutoring since I started my teaching career. I've also retired from the Navy and retired as a research microbiologist as well. I enjoy helping students and the "ah ha moments" when students understand. It is always a pleasure to meet students and provide the best help I can possibly give. My goals as a tutor are to help students feel comfortable while working with me and understand the material being taught/reviewed. This is my hope with every student I have the opportunity and pleasure to meet.
