We stand out in a few different ways. As a family tutoring business, we want you to feel part of our family. We are trained in different approaches to teachcing math and are perfect for the student that just doesn't understand the more traditional classroom approach. I have a masters in education and love math! My goal is for you to succeed in math, and who knows, you may end up loving math as much as I do. My wife, who also tutors, is an online educator who is known in the silicon valley as Mother of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Online, Inside or Outside at our house or at yours. Covid-19 sensitive. Individual training for $100/60 minutes or $50/30 minutes. Individual training includes with free homework help during the week.

I enjoy seeing students thrive in math. Success is quite easy to measure. The student is more confidence, and some students even end up loving math. It makes more sense to them. Grades also show progress. I also enjoy making them laugh. It makes it fun for both of us.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The process varies based on student needs. In all cases I meet with the family first so they could meet me and vice versa. During this meeting, I evaluate the best approach to use to teach this individual learner.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$100 per hour for math tutoring. Includes homework help during the week.
$125 per hour for test prep.
How did you get started teaching?
i switched careers 10 years ago from a Silcon Valley executive.

All types between addition - algebra.

Easy! ISEE test score are back for 2019 and my students increased their scores by close to 25%. Students and parents were very pleased.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Assess your needs. If you need homework help only, there are a lot of great people out there. In this case, you should look for someone who you get along with.
If the traditional approach to learning math is not working for you, then you might need to learn math a different way that also results in great grades. And yes, you still need to get along with this person.
In both cases, constantly measure whether you are getting the results that you are looking for.
