Hi, I’m Alene Deyein, and I’ve been an engaged and passionate educator for over 25 years. I’m here to support you in your learning goals, and help you find the best way for you to excel. I live working with students and have maintained long term relationships with many of my former students!

I am a senior at SJSU, 1 year away from graduating with my teaching credential. I have 1 year experience co-teaching in a 2nd grade classroom. My primary job was to work one on one with students struggling with reading, writing, and math. I love working with kids, no child is too difficult.

Who: Hi, my name is Justin Nyam, and I am a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry based out of the South Bay. Why Me?: I nearly failed Calculus in my Junior year of high school. I currently attend Northeastern University, and have been working with children for four years. I have been directly involved with teaching kids for three years. I specialize in K-6 math and reading, and I focus on improving motivation and confidence as well as strengthening foundational skills. If kids want to learn, they will pick up concepts quicker, and I achieve this by giving kids levels of agency within the process, e.g. should we learn colors or shapes first today? which helps build ownership in the learning process.

I'm a MIT and University of Chicago graduate. I have years of tutoring experience, working for big names like Kaplan and NEXT. I have helped dozens of students with the SAT, GRE, GMAT, LSAT, English and general math skills. I also help improve writing skills. My students have gone to top schools.
