About
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Valdivia and I’m a dedicated educator and therapist with a strong passion for helping students succeed academically and emotionally. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. I also have over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages from elementary to high school in both classroom and small group settings.
As a former paraprofessional with Moreno Valley Unified School District, I specialized in supporting students with foundational skills in math, reading, and phonics. I also created and led a social-emotional learning group to help students manage stress, build confidence, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
Whether your child needs help catching up, staying on track, or building better study habits, I provide tutoring that is personalized, patient, and rooted in understanding each student’s individual learning style. I believe that learning should feel empowering and I work to create a safe, encouraging environment where students feel supported and capable.
Subjects I Tutor:
Elementary and middle school math
Reading and phonics
Writing and grammar
Study skills and organization
Social-emotional learning support
Let’s work together to help your child feel confident, capable, and inspired to learn!
