About
As a professional educator with over 15 years of international experience in both public and private sectors, I offer personalized, results-driven tutoring tailored to each student’s unique needs. I hold two Master’s degrees and two undergraduate degrees, including a B.A. in Linguistics with TESOL certification. My core expertise lies in ESL/EFL instruction, and I’ve also passed California CSET exams I–III for Japanese language instruction, with success stories from students I’ve tutored.
While not a licensed Speech Pathologist, I confidently provide amateur-level speech tutoring at a high standard—often comparable in quality to professional services but at a significantly reduced rate. Additionally, I offer strong academic support in English Language Arts (reading, writing, literature, and composition), English Literature, and History through high school. For middle school students, I provide well-rounded tutoring extended to Math, Science, and other core subjects.
I’ve worked with students of all ages, learning styles, and abilities—including those with physical, linguistic, cognitive, or social challenges. I also have direct experience supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing students at the college level, and spent over a decade as a local substitute teacher across various grades and disciplines in Stanislaus County schools, working closely with at-risk students and students facing a variety of challenges.
My experience extends to standardized test preparation, academic coaching, and culturally responsive instruction. Whether the goal is language fluency, academic improvement, or test readiness, I provide expert, one-on-one support designed to foster confidence, skill development, and long-term success.
Let’s work together to achieve your educational goals with expert instruction tailored just for you!
