Special education teacher with certifications in learning disabilities and experience working with students with dyslexia, ADHD and autism. I have extensive experience in reading intervention and have worked for over 30 years as a credentialed teacher in elementary schools. I have a multiple subjects credential, special education credential and resource teacher certificate.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I get a background of previous academic challenges and like to do some informal assessment to see where the student is performing. I also like to have fun so that the student is comfortable and relaxed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was a special education teacher for over 30 years and would tutor during the summer for students in my district.
