About
Hi, I’m Hari! I’ve been tutoring for over 6 years, working with more than 100 students across subjects like English, math, biology, music, and SAT/ACT prep. I also mentor in music, drawing on 10+ years of training in jazz trumpet and Indian classical violin.
Working with me means lessons that are clear, supportive, and tailored to each student. I often design creative scenarios that connect my different passions — for example, using musical rhythm to explain grammar, or linking biology concepts to real-world problem-solving. Students find this makes learning more approachable and even fun, while still building strong skills and confidence.
My background includes 80+ online tutoring sessions with UPchieve, paid 1-on-1 academic lessons through Superprof, and experience as a Teaching Methodology Intern with Indian Education Orgs, where I worked with over 50 students and coached 30+ teachers to improve classroom strategies. I’ve also completed advanced coursework in literature, biology, and calculus, and conducted neuroscience research at Stanford and Northeastern University.
