Taylor’s English Tutoring
About
Hi! My name is Taylor and I have always had a passion for English and literature. I believe that English, as a subject, doesn't resonate or connect with a majority of students in schools due to the fact that they force students to read and write about things that aren't of their interest. I would start out by getting to learn the student and learning their interests. After, I would introduce the student to different books of genres pertaining to their interest and do small writing excercises to ease them into a love for the subject! I have worked with kids for about two summers teaching swim lessons as well. I have won multiple local writing contests and have never received an english grade below an A.
I love sharing my love for the subject! English often gets written off as boring and unimportant when in reality that's completely false. I think there is a good and writing strength for everyone! I love seeing students faces light up when they finally find their spark for the amazing subject that is English.
