Learning With Joy
About
I have experience teaching students with special needs. I have taught students from K-12th with physical disabilities, multiple disabilities, autism and related disorders. I am passionate in what I do and I believe that the student's disability should not limit his or her abilities.
I have taught at San Luis Obispo County Office of Education for 2 years serving students with physical/multiple disabilities. I have taught at LAUSD as a teacher for students with Autism in the Alternate Curriculum for 4 years.
I am credentialed to teach students with Physical and Health Impairments and students with Autism. I am also credentialed to teach students with moderate to severe disabilities. I also received training on assistive technology from Cal State Northridge.
I can help with elementary school level and functional academics, behavior modifications and assistive technology.
I enjoy working with students and see them make progress.
