Pa'Lante Spanish Tutoring
I have been a fluent Spanish speaker my entire life.
I was enrolled in a full immersion spanish academy at the age of 6.
I continued the program through middle school and high school as well as lived with a latin family for much of my young life.
I am very well versed in proper use of grammar, and accent/dialect execution, as well as being able to inform my students of the less formal ways that the language is spoken today.
I love sharing the knowledge of language that has been so pivotal to me in my own life. One of the greatest gifts I've ever recieved was learning Spanish. I always say that if you can speak to someone who doesn't have your native tongue, it doubles your knowledge, your experience, and enriches your mind that much more.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will meet and talk initially about where they are at with their classwork. Through this, we can pinpoint together what their strengths and weaknesses are, and then jump into the areas we need to focus on.
Step by step, we will work through the materials they are assigned by their teacher, get homework done, and get that grade up, or maintain their already stellar grades, and excell beyond.
As it was how I learned Spanish, and I do believe it is the best way to make it stick, there will be an element of total immersion. Depending on where the student is in class, we will just speak spanish when we work together. Therefore, the student will get used to making those cognitive connections between hearing and speaking, so that they will be able to hold effortless conversation in no time.
