Private Teacher For Reading Development & Academic Monitoring
About
I am a California certified reading and education specialist with a Bachelor degree in History from California State University Dominguez Hills. I currently work as a fully crendentialed teacher with students in middle school, but also have experience with elementary and high school students.
The best part of my work are the opportunities where I get to watch student's reading levels jump by 3 or more grade levels within 2 years. Its beautiful to see the confidence they gain and the motivation to do better in school.
My program allows families to choose the level of support that would best suit their child. And all my programs include a weekly update that tracks the students growth and reading development.

What I offer is an intensive focus in the areas of reading comprehension, reading fluency, and vocabulary development.
There are 3 general ways I offer support:
option 1: at home indepdent reading program where I provide specialized reading activities. This option includes meeting once a week to review the students work and test the student to monitor their progress. $30/week

Option 3: Combine both reading programs listed above. $55/week
To begin this work I have the student fill out an interest survey to get to know the students interests. Based these reports I develop the lessons and activities.
