I love the process of creating and capturing a moment. My favorite thing about film is the community that comes together to tell a story and capture something new. I love teaching others this craft because I think that learning to see your world through a lens is a life skill that can apply to everything in your world.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to learn about you and your goals and your learning style. I cater my lessons to your specific skill sets and what interests you!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors in fine art in Photography. I have my masters in film from UCLA. I have also taught 6th grade in Colorado and have been a teaching assistant at the graduate level. I’ve been a private tutor for several students in both and online and in person.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Your first meet and greet is 1/2 hour for $25 Once we set our lesson plans and goals it’s $200 an hour or $300 for 2 hours. However, I am open to other budget options should you like to work with me and that price amount isn't feasible. Please reach out and lets make something custom!
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching 6th grade students in 2004 and then while in grad school at UCLA I worked as a TA. I find that I naturally gravitate towards sharing knowledge and I am great at finding people at their level and keeping things positive and fun! /p>
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds! Young, graduate level, adult, teens, you name it!;
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I run my own wedding cinematography company and every wedding I get to film is so incredibly special. I’m so lucky to get to have a front row seat to a big day in peoples lives.
