What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A very important first step that I take as a tutor is to familiarize myself with the student. After assessing the student's abilities, I am able to evaluate the stengths and weaknesses that should be worked on. Upon making a compehensive study plan, the student and myself proceed in honing the skills that need to be improved.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been tutoring mathematics and science for more than 5 years. I have also completed higher education in a STEM field.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a wide variety of students. In my experience, my students are at different academic levels ranging from primary school up to college as well as adult learners. I am comfortable with teaching individuals regardless of their academic performance.
