I provide in depth analysis for my students to help them understand the root of the problem not just the surface. Recognizing the root of the problem is central to understanding the overall concept and I work with my students to personalize the approach to their individual struggles. I am flexible with times and passionate about getting my students the help they need. My students and I work together on everything ranging from essays, overall improvement, analysis, reading and note taking skills, and much more. The dedication for every student achieving their goals is one of my greatest skills.

I love seeing the face students make after understanding a difficult concept! The greatest pleasure from tutoring students is seeing them progress and achieve their goals. I have met plenty of students that say to me “I can’t do this” but when they eventually do, the shock and amazement they experience is overwhelming!

I was recommend to Konstantin from a friend of mine who was tutored by him at Pepperdine. Sometimes we would meet online, sometimes over the phone, and sometimes in person, and every time I learn some thing from him that I had either missed, not understood, or misunderstood. He would help me write my essays, and will take a great amount of time in helping me understand how to properly write as he’s not only for this class but for all future classes. I still write my essays in the way he taught me. I was just starting college when I started my tutoring with him, and for two years he has been helping me advance in my academic career. I met Konstantin at Pepperdine University while he was substitute teaching for our professor. At the end of the lecture, he told us of his tutoring sessions, and I signed up immediately. At first it was a small group of 2-5 but then when the word got out at how well those students were doing, the group grew. On the first exam before I went to tutoring with Konstantin, I received a 52%, I knew that I had to change immediately. After I began going to regular tutoring sessions (twice a week) with Konstantin, he brought my overall average exam grade up to 102% (extra credit was given on each exam). I am forever thankful to Konstantin helping me pass Humanities with an A (94%), especially considering how flexible he is on price and time!

At first I was a little hesitant because I was not sure how the distance is going to work, but Konstantin created a schedule that not only worked for him but also work for me. We were able to meet over the phone and it was a true blessing because the 25 mile distance was a lot to travel. I was taking AP US government and politics and I was really suffering because I really don’t like politics, but Konstantin‘s passion for politics not only motivated me to do well, but he provides verses, analysis, and a great way of teaching, that I was able to quickly grasp. Konstantin helped me so much in AP US History, I was failing every quiz and test and within a matter of weeks I was Acing them. I’ve never really been good at government or history, so I having someone who is so passionate and understanding. Frequently asked questions

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The first meeting will be at a 50% reduced rate and we will go over the required materials, you will provide me with the textbooks, we will talk about your weaknesses and strengths regarding the specific topic, and the approach that you would like to take. We would then map out a personalized program specifically geared to addressing your direct needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was the humanities department teacher’s assistant, as an undergraduate at Pepperdine university from 2016 to 2018. I graduated with a business administration degree from Pepperdine university in 2018. The 52 students that I privately tutored for the Humanities department, all averaged a test score above 95%. I have tutored over 50 private students outside of Pepperdine and all have achieved above 95% test scores. 97% of my tutoring students pass their course with an A (90% or better).
