Hey, my name is Bill. I am currently a student at Harvard Westlake and have studied at the University of Chicago. If you need any sort of help in a Classics or History based course, I would love to work with you! I realize that many classes that I have been fortunate enough to take are not offered at many schools, so I would also love to help and teach in that respect. Below is a list of classes I tutor.
Latin: levels 1-8, AP and post AP
Greek: (beginners)
European History: regular or AP

English
I am lucky to have found an area of study that I am truly passionate about. I would love to help students in that area so that they might also grow to love history and language as I have.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing I normally do is speak with both the parent and the student individually to hear their concerns and goals. Your goals, the challenges you have experienced, and your aspirations are vital to creating a successful plan. Then I get to know your personality and learning style and devise a path to reach your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have studied and performed well on the ISEE and SCAT that helped me get into Harvard-Westlake. Currently, at Harvard-Westlake, I am in Honors and AP classes and have trained to understand the best ways to study. Over the summer of 2019, I began college at the University of Chicago and earned 2 years' worth of Greek while on campus full time.
