My name is Kristian Attard and I was born in Sydney Australia and now currently live in Los Angeles. I have been in the music industry for over 20 years and have worked with some of the following artists Heart, Jason Mraz, Boy George, Ceelo Green, Jessie J, Zedd, Meghan Trainor, Mike Posner, Sugar Ray, Smash Mouth, Kahlid, bass chair on TV show The Voice Au and many more.
I love sharing the gift of music with others and love helping people progress and accomplish their dreams and goals. I teach guitar and bass guitar so please feel free to contact me any time and let's get to work.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get a feel for where they are at and what experience they may have had so far. Then I like to go through what type of music inspires them and see what their goals and aspirations are for learning music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certificate in music, Advanced Certificate in Music. Diploma in Music. Australian Institute Of Music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Normally $50 per 30mins but I like to work with the students budget and see what they are comfortable with.
How did you get started teaching?
I started learning guitar and bass at The Music Life School Of Performing Arts in Sydney Australia. After 4 years I began teaching there and became the head Guitar & Bass teacher.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and all ability levels.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just gifted a friend who has always wanted to play guitar a stratocaster and an amp. He was over the moon. It made me happy to see him so excited. I love seeing people inspired to play music.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find what fuels your passion and focus on it with the right guidance.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Find a teacher who has experience in the real world of the music business and can help take you there.
