About
Many disciplines can be learned from Tutor Guide, for instance: History, English, Math, Science, and study techniques. I have taught all subjects for over 23 years in the Los Angeles area. I have a Masters of Education in History. I have hosted school-wide Jeopardy tournaments. I have a Social Science credential and a Bachelors of Art in Radio, TV, and film. I also have a CLAD credential.
It is an absolute pleasure to see the light bulb go on in someone's head. Students rise up and see the world in a different way. Education is knowledge. Knowledge is power. And power is money.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I discuss with them their goals. I then ask about their study habits and what styles of learning do they respond to best: explanations, examples, or comparisons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
With my Masters degree, I have many different strategies at my disposal that I can utilize. Some are: Primary Text research, Character education, Neuroscience methods, Project Based research, Weblogs, Wikipedia edits, Entertainment media usage, among others.
Teaching Special Education which includes a tutorial, remedial style, I have taught everything from the times tables and phonics to the Periodic Table and the Constitution.
