Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I spend the first class to know more about my student on a personal level so that I understand the challenge and hurdle in clear understanding of concepts as well as in getting good grades. I often like having conversations with the student, and sometimes even with the parent, to discuss how to work together as a team. From then on we delve into core academics.
Financially, I give one free demo class so that both the teacher and the student can evaluate if the chemistry matches and required capability and capacity is worthy for the investment.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have hands on business management training and experience of 11 years at Procter & Gamble, a Fortune 500 company.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Recently I privately tutored an undergraduate course at Drew University on Startups. I really enjoyed teaching the course as the course design was immersive and impressive. The projects were exciting and fresh and there was genuine learning vs mundane theories or calculations.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think answers to any exam get concise and crisp with solid real life examples. Real examples help us grasp the concept and reproduce the same in a timely manner during an exam. I think my extensive business experience helps in making these examples shine.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think I am comfortable in having a fluid conversation.
