I'm really enthusiastic about teaching art whether it's to a beginner, to someone who wants to do art as a hobby, or an aspiring professional artist. Art is something inheren within is and is our unique way of perceiving the world around us. I really enjoy fostering that.
Art is like a trusted friend, it's always there if you need it through good times and bad. For me personally, (art) is problem solving in a world in which the alliance of colors, shapes and textures make their own sense and that is perfectly okay, and the process is one of complete trust of one's own instincts. In a busy modern world, it's a solvent.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I see what level they are at and what they want out of their time working with me. For art, I'd be interested in what medium they'd like to use or if more than one medium, great!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied art at Santa Monica College and am an experienced artist myself.
