I am a professional artist offering tutoring services in art (drawing, painting, printmaking, and crafts), math, science, and more. I have been working in various creative industries performing tasks focused on education at all levels with a focus on college-level, illustration, design, sales, job management, and more.
I love what I do because it's always new and different which keeps life interesting. I enjoy challenges and problem solving, and bring a joy for exploring possibilities to my teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get familiar with new students first to explore how we can communicate and get along. I like to learn about the person before helping them learn and grow. Given our current world this can happen outside wearing masks or via zoom where we can talk and get to know each other.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors and masters in art. I've been working professionally in the arts for 20 years with a focus on technical craft and making of printed goods. I've taught for most of my career in numerous settings. Age ranges include the youngest students I've had in art class at age 10 to students twice my own age.
