Cassidy Devine

Hi there! I'm Cassidy, also known to my students as Ms. Devine. I received my teaching credential in 2013 and have taught kindergarten and been a small group literacy specialist. I have a lot of experience in working one on one or in small groups with young students to help them develop reading fluency and comprehension. I also have a gentle and flexible nature with my students and am able to tailor my teaching to be most effective for whatever my student most needs. I use many different modalities to teach, such as visuals, manipulatives, songs, and physical movement. I enjoy connecting learning across different subject areas or areas of interest for my student. Foundational skills in reading are the key to your student thriving and I'm looking forward to working with him/her to get started on the path to success!
