With a strong background in Mathematics from Goldenwest Community College and UC Irvine, I learned how crucial it is to be a critical thinker. My original passion was to teach higher division math (for example: Calculus) for high school students that took mathematics seriously in order to be accepted in college after finishing HS. Though my passion to teach got side tracked as I got engaged and morally supported my husband's career's ahead of mine as we both agreed to have to start a family right after he graduated from college. wanted to start a famknowledge and enthusiasm to every session. I am a high school English teacher in my third full year of teaching. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2018 with a Bachelor's in English, then received my teaching credential the following year from the same university. Since then, I have been a tutor, substitute teacher, and full time teacher. I am currently teacher seniors at a continuation school in Santa Ana. Previously, I taught freshmen and sophomores at a comprehensive high school in La Habra. I have worked with all grade levels and abilities since I began tutoring in 2014. I have a focus on writing and close reading.
