The aspects of my service that makes it special are the passion I have for the subject of history, my flexibility and ability to accomadate different types of learning, and that fact that I have used tutoring services before meaning that I understand what makes a great tutor. These factors combined with my kind and outgoing personality help make my service the useful service it is today.
Helping spread my passion for history and meeting new people are what I enjoy the most about the work that I do. By studying history one can gain a better understanding of what it means to be a human being as well as helps teach how to avoid the mistakes of the past.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for working with a new student is to find out the way that the student learns or in other words if they are an auditory, vistual, or textile learner. Combined with this information I would find out the student's progress in history so far and what they know. With all of this information I would make a plan on what to do during our tutoring sessions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a tutor for a couple of years in the past at a local community college. Through this position I was able to gain new teaching and interpersonal skills that helped to make me a better tutor.
