I enjoy helping students understand English on a deeper level. It is incredibly exciting to watch them learn and grow as English speakers and writers.
I am a certified English as a foreign language teacher through ITA TEFL and have been tutoring English since August of 2020 at an after school center.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in history from UC Santa Cruz and have a TQUK Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language through the International TEFL Academy.
How did you get started teaching?
My first experience with teaching was as an after school tutor for my peers in high school. I explored various other careers after college and have been an English tutor at an after school center since August of 2020.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with elementary through high school aged students. The majority of my students have been in either elementary or middle school.
