Hi There! My name is Jennifer and I have worked in the classroom for over 18 years and for the past 2 years i have been training teachers on the Science of Reading and Achieve Math throughout the many districts in California. I miss having students of my own and this past year started working with students in K-10th grade when not training teachers. Summer months are much slower and I look forward to working with more students in my area and/or online.

I began tutoring during my second year of college. I began with tutoring fellow students in Music and Spanish. From there I have branched off to tutoring in ESL, Basic Math, Basic English, Basic Writing, and Reading. My main goal in tutoring is for the student to walk away with a sense of accomplishment. In order to move forward in subjects, students must feel comfortable in the foundations of a subject before trying to comprehend details. I have been tutoring and teaching for the past 8 years; both adults and children. I have taught ESL in Japan, China, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan.
