I have been an elementary school teacher for 20 years. I hold a Multi-Subject CA Teaching Credential with CLAD (training to teach English to non-native speakers) and adults. Additionally, I have a Masters degree in business. I make learning interesting and fun and varied from the teaching approach that hasn't been working for you. Your grades will soar!

I was struggling to efficiently help my daughter with her reading and writing due to lack of time and honestly some patience. I contemplated hiring a tutor and wasn’t sure where to start but I’m so happy I found Kris here. She has made everything so smooth and most importantly my daughters reading and writing has improved. I talk to my student about their interests and use their interests as a guide to teach. I also am very creative in teaching a variety of methods. I help develop a positive additude toward learning building self-esteem for successful future outcomes.

I am energized by helping children and adults reach their highest potential. I believe sticking with consistent practice and having an "I Can Do" attitude is how you become a success.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with English speakers and whole classrooms of English Language Learners. I love teaching a young student to read, write, and speak, as well as helping adults step up their game at work. I have taught adults teaching proper enunciation and intonation.
