About
I am a special education teacher who also has a credential multiple subjects. I have taught full time for five years and can find unique ways to help any student understand a concept!
I love the “aha” moment my students have when they have finally gotten the concept being taught. I enjoy seeing the joy and accomplishment on their face.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to start with finding out their interests through a few get to know you games. I also ask the parent to answer a get to know you page so I can see where they feel the needs are and anything helpful that I should know about their child. I bring a bag of her to know you items about me so the students can also get to know me and what I am all about!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my bachelors in libera studies from Cal State San Marcos. I became a full time elementary in 2015. I then decided to go back to school and intern for a year as a special education teacher and have just completed schooling and received my credential, I will be starting my second year of full time teaching in special education for middle school RSP.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$30 an hour is what I charge for drop in rates. If I am booked consistently once a week for the month my monthly rate is $100.
How did you get started teaching?
I knew that I always wanted to work with children, I originally thought I wanted to be a nurse and after seeing some friends go through teaching realized that was where my heart truly was. After a few years in gen ed and observing the great need for special education I knew that was truly my calling.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as kindergarten all the way up through eighth grade.
