I'm a semi-retired software engineer. My experience covers a wide range of the software development spectrum. I worked for decades as a senior and leading software engineer in many hi-tech companies. Over the past few years, I have literally helped tens of Computer Science/Software Engineering students ranging in grade from very young, 7-8 year old, students whose parents wanted to learn programming to PHD students. I also helped many middle and high school math students, especially with Algebra. I earned a Bachelors Degree with a dual major in Math and Physics and a minor in Computer Science in 1983. I have had a career using those skills in IT as a programmer, pre sales and customer support. I have always enjoyed a role where I combine technical skills and people skills. I was a tutor in college, I tutored my own children in Math and Science, and at one point I pursed a teaching credential in California and completed CBEST, then decided to refocus on my IT career. I am retired now and want to focus on tutoring and sharing my love for math and science again.
