As a tutor, I try to make sure that my teaching is simple yet effective. I work with all types of teaching techniques, as I believe that everyone learns differently.

I earned a Bachelors Degree with a dual major in Math and Physics and a minor in Computer Science in 1983. I have had a career using those skills in IT as a programmer, pre sales and customer support. I have always enjoyed a role where I combine technical skills and people skills. I was a tutor in college, I tutored my own children in Math and Science, and at one point I pursed a teaching credential in California and completed CBEST, then decided to refocus on my IT career. I am retired now and want to focus on tutoring and sharing my love for math and science again.

I'm currently a second-year undergrad student majoring in Computer Engineering. Back in high school, I took AP Calculus AB and AP Computer Science A, as well as other Honors classes like Pre-Calculus or Chemistry. Therefore, I understand the struggles of those also taking those courses and will be sure to help people get through those struggles.
