My goal is to help you in math subjects and help you understand complex concepts. I want you to thoroughly understand the subjects, so I will strive to adapt to your learning style and ensure you have the knowledge for success.

I have tutored for about 2 years in the houses of my clients as well as online and through the phone.

I have my Bachelors degree in Chemistry with a Biochemistry option.

For months I had no idea how my son would learn how to add and subtract, Lauren has been tutoring us for the past 2 months and it’s been AMAZING. She has mad our lives so much easier and has helped my son thrive and learn in the comfort of his own home. I highly recommend and will use her for our academic needs. I see so much improvement with him in such little time.

Lauren is an incredible tutor for our 12 year old son. As a parent, not only do you want your child to receive help in a subject, but you want them to feel comfortable as well. Lauren has been that person for our son. Not only has his math improved, but his confidence has too! Hes proud of his grades, and even told us recently that hes participating in class (something he NEVER did before seeing Lauren). We cannot thank her enough.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I like to start with asking what concepts they need help in and what their learning style is. From there, I can gauge how to teach them most efficiently

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have 2 years of math tutoring experience and also a Bachelors degree in Chemistry.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$25 an hour for tutoring and if an ongoing schedule is needed, discounts will be given. (Ie. Every tuesday $20 an hour)

How did you get started teaching?

I would help my classmates and some of them would say I am skilled in helping and tutoring so I went from there and began to tutor other students.

What types of students have you worked with?

Middle School/High School students

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Hire someone who can help you with your specific learning type. Sometimes it isn't the subject that is difficult but the way in which it is being taught.
