What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a grad student at Stanford studying environmental engineering. I have a Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering from USC.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $40 per hour and adjust this accordingly for shorter or longer sessions. I do not charge late fees or cancelation fees.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching late summer during 2020 before starting school and continued.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students in middle school, high school, and college, as well as adult students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I think students should find a teacher that matches their learning style.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I think students should consider their learning style, what they struggle with (ex. concept vs calculations), and at what pace they learn best.
