i started working with him cause a family member recommended him and he’s doing a fall discount (otherwise i def couldn’t afford it). we’ve only had one session so far but he’s really smart. kind of intense but in a good way. he made me a study plan that looks a little scary ngl but also makes me feel like i actually have a direction now. he gives off private tutor vibes, like the kind that usually works with rich families or college kids, but he’s super chill and not snobby at all, which i didn’t expect but really like.

Merry Touch is an amazing tutor! Her approach to being a writing tutor is unique only to her. Most tutors will proof read your essays and give you suggestions on topics. She goes through the paper with you and helps you convey ideas that are already in the paper. In a sense, she guided me to reconstruct ideas/sentences in order to clearly state my intention. This was very considerate because I am able to utilize the topic I want to in a concise and clear way. There was not a single point where Merry made me feel ashamed of my paper. This is a big help because for me, writing is an extension of myself and she nurtured it. I 100% recommend her.
