Alexis Dyson
About
Alexis is a recent graduate of San Diego State University. She graduated honors with a BA in Theatre Performance, and will be attending Cal Poly in the Fall while pursuing her MA in English. Alexis loves to write and perform, and plans on moving to New York after receiving her degree in hopes of performing on Broadway while working as a college professor.
Alexis works well with people of all ages, she regularly choreographs dance routines for young girls in beauty pageants, has taught at the YMCA, has tutored her college peers in English and Literature, holds essay workshops, and has experience working with those with disabilities. Alexis also has over a decade of theatre and voice experience, landing her first acting gig at just six years old. She has performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Sydney Opera House, in addition to receiving musical theatre training at the Open Jar Institute in New York City.
Alexis is patient, encouraging, and diligent, providing a safe, fun, and positive learning environment that promotes productivity and a love for education.
