Coffee With Carrington

Available weekends only, 10 am - 5 pm.

Meet Carrington. She started her "Coffee with Carrington" tutoring business in 2016 to help foreign visitors to San Diego practice their English conversation skills. From there, she expanded to tutoring high school and college students with their writing and speaking.

She holds a degree in English and American Literature from one of the top 20 universities in the world, the University of California at San Diego, from which she graduated cum laude. She also earned her Masters degree in multicultural education from Point Loma Nazarene University.

Carrington is highly experienced. She has been a teacher in the San Diego Unified School District since 1993 and has taught every grade from 7th - 12th. She has taught a variety of subjects, such as theatre arts, Spanish, U.S. history, standardized test prep, advanced English, and English as a Second Language.

Carrington has a friendly and engaging personality. She enjoys the personal connection of one-on-one tutoring and brings that positive energy to each session.
