Hi, my name is Gabi!
I am UCLA alumna with a B.S. in Physiological Science. I have extensive tutoring experience in biology, chemistry and physiology at both the high school and college levels. In addition to private tutoring, I taught AP Biology on the e-Learning platform "Emile" as a member of the founding team.
I am experienced and enjoy working with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, and various processing disorders.
I am happy to negotiate pricing and tutoring styles to fit your needs.
As someone who knows the value of a good tutor, I want to give back to those in need. My tutoring sessions are always judgment free.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Establishing a rapport is key, therefore before the first tutoring session I encourage my students (and/or parents) to schedule a free consultation with me to discuss individual preferences and needs. This includes but is not limited to understanding the students perfered learning style, areas of weakness, and tutoring goals. It is my personal goal to first assist a student build back any confidence they may have lost in a subject they are struggling in.

Member of the National Tutoring Association.
Education: UCLA B.S. Physiological Science
Experience: Emile Learning, private tutoring, 3 years of clinical research experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator (both in the areas of Rheumatology and Immunology)

I am happy to discuss pricing on a case-by-case basis. My goal is to help anyone in need, reguardless of their ability to pay.
How did you get started teaching?
The pandemic showed a serious need for accessible online tutoring! In my extra time I have found it very rewarding to help.
