Hello! My name is Destiny Romero I am a 21 year old student at CSDH working on obtaining my BSN degree! I tutored when i was in high school as a job but decided to take a break when i started college. I am excited to return back to it to help many of you grow through your academic journey! I am patient and enjoy learning togther! I enjoy seeing every student grow when they are able to grasp the concept! I am friendly, helpful, and just the right tutor for you!
I enjoy meeting new students and hearing about their academic journey. I love to see growth within the students and to hear about their successes! I enjoy how tutoring facilities the process. I have been tutoring for about 2 years now. I have completed online orientations and workshops in order to obtain a tutoring certificate.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Usually the first session I like to get to know the student, hear about their struggles and see where they could use the improvement. I like to hear the students end goals and set up a regime based on their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As of right now, I am a student at CSDH working on my Bachelors Degree in Nursing. However, I have taken multiple math classes up until Calculus II. I have also taken multiple child development courses along with eductional planning courses.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do have a standard pricing system, Usually it is 30 dollars an hour and sessions need to be in 1-2 hour intervals.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked mainly with middle school students, but I have worked with a few high school students as well.
