About
I am a graduate student at the University of Southern California, pursuing my Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. I earned my Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminology, along with a Minor in Economics, from Gonzaga University. I have several years of academic and professional experience in the psychological and criminological fields, and I’m passionate about sharing that knowledge with others.
Psychology has always fascinated me—it allows us to understand not just how the mind works or how mental health challenges arise, but also how people think, feel, and interact in everyday life. It’s the foundation of how we understand ourselves and one another.
I was fortunate to have mentors who believed in me, especially during moments when I doubted myself. Their encouragement helped shape the person I am today, and I hope to provide that same kind of support to others. I believe that everyone has a unique potential that sometimes just needs guidance, understanding, and the right tools to shine.
My approach to tutoring is rooted in compassion, empathy, and structure. I take time to understand each student’s learning style and adapt my methods to meet their needs. I value organization and clarity, but I also bring patience and encouragement to every session. Whether you’re aspiring to enter the field of psychology or simply trying to get through a required course, my goal is to help you grow, gain confidence, and connect deeply with what you’re learning.
