About
Over the past 4 years of tutoring, I have helped many students succeed academically and achieve general improvements as well as increase in confidence. I believe that all students are very smart and capable of success, and I am passionate in helping you reach your goal.
I am flexible in my ways of teaching as I think every student learns differently. Thus, I strive to put myself in the student's shoes and best suit each students' needs, as well as communicating the concepts effectively while not missing out on engagement.
My primary subjects are math, violin, beginner english, and sometimes madarin chinese.
I enjoy seeing students understand the material better with my help, or see them achieve their goals with my help. It's rewarding to see them do well with my tutoring, and I absolutely love it when a student is very interested/passionate about the subject and wants to learn more.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I'd like to get to know the student's weaknesses and strengths, also what goal they are working towards whether it's to get a better grade in a class, finish homeworks, understand a concept better, or to have more fun (particularly with violin). Also I would like the student to let me know their realistic expectations out of tutoring. :)
