As an education specialist with years of classroom and tutoring experience, I really help students understand how they learn and eventually, they no longer need a tutor.
The greatest joy I receive from my work is seeing a student recognize their potential. To see a student succeed brings me immense pleasure and to see a student learn to love learning is the best gift.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess their levels and areas of strength first and then work out a personal tutoring schedule including areas we will work on and concentrate in and a timeline for these areas. Students need to see their progress and success.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Education, a Masters and a Doctorate. I am credentialed in Multiple subjects, as well as Special Education and Social Studies. I have been teaching and tutoring since 1985 and have taught English, Social Studies, Math and French. I have lived in 5 countries including teaching in Africa and Europe.
