The most enjoyable part about what we do is watching students grow. Sure, the test is important, and our goal is to improve scores, but knowing a kid leaves our program a better critical thinker capable of reading a passage, digesting its meaning, and then offering an insightful take on the matter after is the real thrill.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Step 1: Students take a diagnostic SAT and ACT science section to benchmark their starting level.
Step 2: Students book a FREE 30-MINUTE LESSON to discuss the results of their diagnostic and decide which test they'd be better suited for. Additionally students will work through a practice worksheet to see what the tutoring experience looks like.
Step 3: If the student finds the session helpful, we set up a learning plan to help them meet their goals.

What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with all types of students: those who came to me scoring in the 900s and those who already earned above 1400!
Everyone learns a little differently and that's okay!
I've also worked extensively with students who experience various learning differences.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We recently increased a students SAT score 350 points. Our best improvement yet!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
There is a lot of good free material online. Only pick a tutor if you like their style and they motivate you. You're paying for a leader, a cheerleader, and confidence. If your tutor doesn't offer that, you haven't found the right one.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
How much time are you able to dedicate per week to study?
What is the timeline before your test?
