About

I am passionate about what I do. When it seems like I care too much, I really do. I have a lot of clients that say I sound like a gimmick over the phone or through text message, but I promise I am not. I have worked in the education industry for nearly ten years and do not intend on stopping. I am straight forward when it comes to your educational needs. If the relationship is mutual, then we will continue. If I feel that money is being wasted, I will return what was paid and call it a day. I am not in this world to make millions of dollars - I am here to make a change and that is my ultimate goal. I really do mean that. I also do have a sliding scale - PLEASE ASK. Have a wonderful day! Oh - If I could give one piece of advice: When choosing a tutor, in whatever field you're looking for, ask questions and never pay a dollar until you feel truly confident about your choice, even if it is not me.

Easy - when your in this industry, you either love it or you don't.

Frequently asked questions

Honestly, let's meet. It is the easiest way for me to get to know you and your child. As amazing as texting and phone conversations are, nothing beats in-person conversation.

I have a bachelors degree in Mathematics from Cal State Long Beach and have nearly ten years of experience in tutoring and teaching.

It just depends on the family I am working with. Please be vocal if you are in need of a sliding scale. I work with all types of families.

I began teaching my junior year in high school. Wow, a long time ago. From there, I always wanted to be involved in education and I have done so for nearly ten years. I believe that I have done so because of the love I have for this world.

I have worked with many types of students, across many different spectrums. I have worked with high achieving students - 4.0 +, SAT 1500 +, and students who have a difficult time learning. I have also worked with gifted students, home school students and have worked with special needs students.

Ask me in person. There are too many to count. This job makes me laugh, cry, confused and more. I love it!

Ask questions. I can't be more clear than that. It is your education (parent and student), so be your own advocate!!! I implore you, to be honest, and to not hide anything.

That is the problem. I really believe that students do not ask enough questions because of questions like this. Students should be able to ask any question, no matter how trivial it may seem. Yes, students should think before they speak, but to what extent. I am always an advocate for student-self advocacy.
