Hi! I'm Risu, a tutor based in Los Angeles and a recent graduate of Cal State Northridge with a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies. I've spent 10 years working as a college and high school tutor (both group and one-on-one) as well as a Teacher's Assistant for LAUSD and GUSD.
My experience tutoring has been one of my favorite ways to connect with people of all ages. I will serve more as a catalyst for recognizing your learning style so that you can better understand the material and be confident in your ability to solve any problem. While my focus is primarily on Math subjects (Geometry, Trigonometry, and Algebra), I am also proficient in the Sciences and can aid in any English homework (essays, reading and writing grammar, etc.).
There is no ONE SIZE FITS ALL!
When I'm not focusing on school, I like to spend time reading, taking landscape photos on film, listening to podcasts, and watching movies. I can't wait to meet you and help you (or your young one) be a confident multi-subject maestro!
