About
I am a Credentialed Teacher!!! I love Teaching! I tutor 1 on 1 in my home.
I am also an Irlen tester and can test you or your child if there is difficulties in reading. Is there trouble with comprehension? Are the words moving on the page? Does light bother you? Do you get headaches?
I love seeing when my students get what I am teaching them and when they feel successful. I love encouraging them and showing them easier ways to understand what they are working on.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was teaching Justin how to add 3 digit numbers and how to carry. Then I wrote him a super long problem that filled up the page and showed him that no matter how big the number was that you are adding, you continue to add the numbers the same way. He was so proud to show his parents what he tackled that day during tutoring. It really built up his self-confidence.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Work hard and try your best, and you will do well. Never give up. If you do not know how to do something, that's o.k.. You just haven't learned it yet, but you will. Keep trying!
