My name is Mimi. I graduated as a chemical engineer but why do I love teaching Chemistry and Math? These two subjects are found the hardest ones by most students. Chemistry has a reputation as a difficult science! Students struggle with Chemistry and Math because they don't approach the subjects the right way and lack of understanding the main concepts.

To help students to solve these problems, I summarize and highlight the main concepts for each topic and create study methods that are easy to understand. So the students can find the subjects more intersting and learn more independently. Teaching Chemistry and Math gives me a opportunity to use my passion to inspire young people and strive for the best to make this world a better place!

Mimi is an excellent tutor who deeply cares for her students. She wants her students to get an A and to be able to comprehend the basics. Her background in chemistry goes deeper than you think. She has the knowledge in multiple areas when in comes to chemistry. My course contained 3 different sections such as regular chem, bio chem, and organic chem. I was impressed on finding out how much knowledge she has, especially when it came to my course. I suggest going to see her in person because she’ll make you feel welcome and help form a good connection with you. Mimi is a hard worker who strives to do her absolute best. She is unlike most tutors who will go above and beyond for you. Mimi will keep trying to show examples or explain a section in different ways until you family understand what’s going on. Without her help, I would have failed my course miserably. I appreciate her kindness and support throughout my journey. Math and chemistry tutoring is my absolute favorite! math and chemistry tutoring really blew me away, first and foremost, with how much thought mimi put into matching your child with her learning style, personality, and needs. it was almost as if our tutor, mimi, had known my daughter for a while. mimi could tell that my daughter was more of a visual learner and tailored her entire lesson plan to play off of that. additionally, mimi picked up pretty quickly that my daughter does not do as well with lectures and so she cut them short, spending way more time going straight into exercises. weve been using math and chemistry tutoring for several months now and were never looking back.

❤️ what i love ️? the most important thing for me is how personalized math and chemistry tutoring service is to my child. that was the most important thing for me because the goal was to help my daughter improve. math and chemistry tutoring is the best at that no questions asked. Last thing ill say here is its been really easy to grab more hours here and there with math and chemistry tutoring as needed, which has been a huge blessing because sometimes we need extra help for tougher subjects.

🙈 what could be better

this is on the higher end of tutoring services in terms of cost, which i was hesitant about paying at first. the way ive thought about it though is that its an investment in my daughter’s education and overtime i think shell need less tutoring as she improves.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

During the first tutoring session, I will probably spend about five to ten minutes just getting to know the new student. I will ask questions about the student's interests, what things motivate or excite her/him, life at school, TV shows or books that interest her/him, etc...I will take the time to connect meaningfully with the new student. I want to make sure that my students will be caring and feeling comfortable to work with me.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Why you should hire me? Because I have the good education and experience in the field of Chemistry and Math. Hope you know that the better my education, the more I know about chemistry and math...and the better I will be able to teach you.
I got a Master Degree in Chemistry and Bachelor of Science Degre in Mathematics.

After graduated college, I have been an accomplished, responsible, and organized Analytical chemist who is specializing in LC-MS and LC-MS/MS techniques.
Sample analyses include pharmaceutical, environmental, petroleum refinery, method validation and method development.
proficient in running FT-IR and Elemental analysis, as well as writing SOPs and performing technical review. I am also a disciplined, strategic leader with a level of loyalty handling multiple projects and effectively prioritize to meet deadlines for specific projects at one of biggest Petroleum Refinery in Long Beach.
In addition, I have over 10 years of teaching/ tutoring experience. I have taught a range of subjects that I have academic background in like general chemistry, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, trigonometry, algebra, and all levels of calculus ( since I was in High School).
