About
Spanish is my native language, and moving from Ecuador to the United States seven years ago made me understand how important is to know more than one language and how useful it is to have personalized help to learn a language succesfuly. From a point of view of someone that learned another language at an advanced age, I am capable to give individualized attention to each student's needs.
I feel that by turoting I could help people, and truly have the power to change lives. I am a person that enjoys helping people to excel his or her potential. Since I was in highschool I enjoyed volunteering in tutoring and helping kids from all ages in summer activities or after school programs. I also have experience in tutoring people in Spanish since I moved to the United States. Southern California is a place where a big percentage of people speak Spanish so I understand how useful knowing the language could be.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With a new student, the first session is designed to have a friendly conversation to get to know each other. I use this first session to understand the goals of my new student to be able to plan a program for the future sessions. Depeding on the level of the student, I continue with specific questions to find the proper level of the person's knowledge in the language.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
