Briana Nguyen

I graduated from University of California, Riverside in May 2023. I got my B.A in Political Science. Through my courses there, I learned that I am great in reading and writing. I plan to be a professor one day, but in the mean time, I practice reading and writing with my younger cousin in primary school. I really value education and always encourage children to see the greater things about school subjects even when they can be challenging. I can be very patient and I understand how difficult learning a subject can be, and how disengaged and discouraged students can feel towards the subject. My overall goal is to help kids have a strong foundational understanding of reading & writing because it makes comprehending life so much easier, it sets you up for shortcuts in the future, and gives you the tools to be self expressive, to be leaders, to be curious, to be bold, and to empower yourself and others. Language is very beautiful, I see art in reading and writing and I would love to support children in seeing the beauty in mastering this skill.
