I like to teach things not only through repetition, but through conceptual reduction. Something I've noticed with many of my own teachers is that so much education is based solely on repetition, which is necessary but insufficient. It doesn't matter how many times someone practices factoring polynomials, the skill won't stick if they don't understand what they're doing. I'm currently finishing up medical school and I have passed the USMLE Step 1, USMLE Step 2 and the OET. I have tutored students both in undergrad and medical school (and nursing school if needed).
